Welcome to the Harper & Fox Creative blog! Here is where I share the things that inspire me and keep me creatively charged. Enjoy!

Yojoki Tea

Anne-Marie Onn

This is a beautiful identity system for a Japanese brand of tea called Yojoki Tea. The creative process for this project began by researching the ancient Asian tea culture using oldest Japanese specialty tea book from, Kissa Yōjōki (喫茶 養生 記) ” be healthy through tea” written in 1211.

The ideas inspired by the book’s content became the guiding concept behind the identity system. The brand uses lots of white, within a context filled with handmade textures, shapes, floral elements and kanji script – one of the first writing systems. The concept of luxury is inherent to the product which comes alive through subtle printed finishes and high-quality materials.

If you build a wall....

...and you're lucky, maybe Arsek & Erase will pay it a visit. Wow! What more can I say about the amazing graffiti artists Jelio and Georgio Dimitrov? 2015 was a busy year for these artists based in Europe. Their artwork is bold, colourful, and larger-than-life! And the crazy characters and scenes they create are just jaw-dropping! I find myself studying every area so I don't miss out on any of the quirky details they've included.

Anne-Marie Onn

Fedrigoni is a paper company whose papers are some of the most eco-friendly in the world. They keep all impacts of the production process on the ecosystem under control,  from the use of cellulose supplied through sustainably managed forests to reduction of energy and water consumption, lower emissions into the air and the use of recycled raw materials.

They worked with Happycentro in Verona, Italy to design this stunning Freelife Visual Book to promote the paper and their commitment to the environment. The design features interesting die cuts, reveals, textures and finishes.
